FAQs
-
CONNECT Shuttles is an organization that prides itself on taking the lead in designing customized shuttle mobility services for clients through a targeted approach that reduces the inclination to drive alone, fills gaps within mobility networks, emphasizes safety and efficiency, and centers on small-to-medium-scale express services that interface well with higher capacity transit services and active transportation.
Our commitment to a superior level of service extends beyond the road and lines on a map to include partnerships with the community as well as trusted transportation partners to bring new services and programs to life that build trust and make a difference to the people that we serve.

CONNECT Shuttles designs custom shuttle routes that serve communities where existing transit runs less than every 15 minutes and whose stops are more than ¼ mile walk (bus) or ½ mile (rail) from the travelers origin.
We partner with licensed independent contractors and private transportation service providers to deliver services on fixed or flexible scales and initiate new routes on a trial basis with the option to continue on a permanent basis following a performance review and/or community consultation.
We work with clients to structure our services to discourage drive and ride-alone travel and to encourage shared mobility that is comfortable, speedy and safe.
We design tailored travel plans that outline multimodal transportation choices for individuals that integrates diverse modes of travel (e.g., Shuttle to Train to Walk/Roll; Walk to Bus to Bike).
We offer reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities who are unable to board a standard shuttle coach without assistance (e.g., assist from curb to ramp; non-transferable and utilizes a mobility device).
We host consultation events with clients at their request to evaluate the performance of services and collect feedback on how to optimize shuttle services to meet needs.
We follow local health guidelines by monitoring capacity limits and safety protocols aboard each shuttle route.

British Columbia and California

CONNECT Shuttles does not own its own fleet of shuttles. The physical operation of a route is delivered by one of our trusted service providers. Such providers include licensed bus operators, taxi operators, and ride hailing operators.
Our goal is simple: to facilitate service through robust planning, partnerships and tailored support to bring shuttle routes to life and reduce personal car trips.

Yes. Accessible services are available to both British Columbia and California riders. This includes reasonable accommodations from the curb to the door on a case-by-case basis as well as accessible vehicles to people utilizing a mobility device that are unable to transfer out of the device onto a seat with assistance.
When reserving an accessible ticket, please include your contact information and a representative will be in touch to request information on the dimensions of your device.

CONNECT Shuttles recognizes the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the health and safety of individuals. It is for this reason that we require that a mask be worn that covers the nose and mouth while onboard at all times.
Proof of Vaccination is required for all British Columbia based shuttle routes until June 01, 2022.
If you are not well or have reason to believe that you may have been exposed to Covid-19 within the past 7 days, we ask that you please refrain from riding.
